Testimonials

"A session with Taira was such a peaceful reminder of how essential it is to give your body time and space to receive rest. Her studio is a sanctuary to slow down, move, breathe and be refreshed. Taira’s guidance through a movement class had a wonderful pace, and her gentle nature made me feel right at home."

-~ Katie

"I attended a session at Patient Breathe Yoga & Wellness Studio, and it was such an amazing experience. I’m an amateur when it comes to yoga, but Taira guided us through each stretch and movement with such ease and gentleness that I forgot I was even doing yoga. The vibe was calm, relaxing, and truly transportive…I felt like I stepped into an entirely different place the moment I walked in! 10 out of 10 recommend!!"

-~ Vanessa

"Somatic sessions with Taira are truly nourishing. I was never big into yoga, but when I experienced the combination of stretches with breath work and intentionality…game changer! Body, mind and spirit are all tended to and that is what sets her classes apart! "

-~ Sydney

"We’ve taken yoga classes from Taira for many years now. We’re getting older and count on her to keep us as flexible as possible and help us with our balance. She does a wonderful job and has a very soothing voice that helps us relax. We always look forward to our sessions with her - she’s the best!"

Frequently asked questions

My teaching style has evolved since becoming certified in Trauma Informed Yoga and Christian Yoga in 2020. In my classes, you will see pieces of yoga, pilates, dance, somatic experiencing and more. They will all differ but overall are accessible with many variations given. There is an overarching purpose of healing the nervous system in an embodied & joy-filled way. Most of the classes are designed with a woman's body & nervous system in mind, but I will also be offering a few co-ed classes!

Possibly! If you have a special interest or request for certain types of classes, please let me know.

I would say it depends on what kind of limited mobility is involved, but chair yoga may be a great place to start! Because I keep my classes small, I can also create more variations for individuals within those classes. If you have specific concerns or questions, reach out to me and I'll do my best to provide help!
